A few days ago we told you guys about a new windows phone 7 app called Magic Poker Flip, now the developer of the app @jonathanlu813 has ported the app over to Android. He has got a Nexus one and has captured a short video of the app in action. It looks like a fun magic app , the kind of app that you can use to impress your friends at a party. The android version has some new features including. We are not sure about the pricing for this app. It might even be released as a Free app ( or Free for a limited time ) , more on this when the app goes live on the Android Market.
If you can figure out the trick used by the developer , just shoot him an email magic.poker.flip@gmail.com. The developer is trying to get this app in to the Android Market. We will let you folks know about it once it goes live.

The app ( v2.0 ) is now available on the Android market as a free app. It has been tested on Android 2.1 & 2.2. It can’t run on an android 1.5 device, and 1.6 & on 2.0 we are not sure it it will work. Just search for Magic Poker

Android users are always looking for a good media player app and from the early impressions from users it looks like double Twist Media player is certainly a step in the right direction. With this app you can import and view movies, music and pictures, syncing option is available via the double Twist desktop client on your PC or Mac, you can even sync your iTunes playlist to your phone, podcasts ( both audio and video ) and the app is said to automatically encode video to a format that is supported on your phone. A widget for the app is in the works. The app is currently free “for a limited time” we are not sure how long so grab it while its free.
When you are busy and can not attend a call, its hard to pick up your phone and switch it to silent mode, you could of course just hit the call end button but some people might find that rude. If only there was an easy way to solve this issue. Say hello to Shake2MuteCall for Android. This handy application is one of the Shake2..Android App by atrant from xda-developers. You can set vibrate in silent mode as one of the option. You can adjust the accelerometer sensitivity, that will trigger the mute option for the incoming call. I suggest you play around with that to find the setting that best suits you. You wouldn’t want the phone going silent when its in your trousers or when its in your bag / purse. That is the only feature the application offers, but it can be quite hand in most circumstance.
We see many android app these days and Zeam Launcher is a new app that tries to introduce a new UI for your Android Phone. Zeam Launcher is a free app by Zeam.org. They have released the app over at xda-developers and also in the Android-Market. ( just search for Zeam Launcher )
According to the developers of the ZeamLauncher application , the features include

Users of the ZeamLauncher claim this to be quite zippy and lightweight, so if you want to switch to a UI that is not so resource hungry then it might be worth a shot.
